At Stern Law Group, our Houston personal injury attorneys take pride in giving back to our local communities - the same communities that place their trust in our firm during difficult times. While we are always available to help victims and families after they’ve been injured or wronged at the hands of others, we also make it a point to work closely with others in the legal world who share the same drive to help those in need.
As part of our ongoing efforts to remain active in the local and legal community, Stern Law Group has had a busy month full of rewarding projects and events. Here are a few details about what our team has been up to lately:
- Our firm was a proud sponsor of CLE luncheon on September 11 in McAllen. The accredited CLE (continuing legal education) helps attorneys fulfill their professional education requirements and maintain their license to practice law. The CLE was moderated by our very own Attorney Adam Miller and included two local judges as guest speakers.
- Stern Law Group was a proud sponsor of the Karing for Kamii Fashion Fundraiser. The event was created to benefit Kamii, who has been battling cystic fibrosis for over 20 years, as she raises funds for a double lung transplant and raises awareness about cystic fibrosis in the Rio Grande Valley. Our firm was happy to contribute $3,500 to help Kamii and be part of the great event!
- We were a proud sponsor of the 2015 Multidisciplinary Advocacy Training Conference on Child Abuse, which is designed to help professionals who work with children or in positions that may deal with child abuse, including attorneys, law enforcement, social workers, and teachers. The conference was held in Edinburg, Texas.
- Stern Law Group was on the Anniversary Cover of Conzepto Magazine! Our legal team is honored by the recognition and proud to serve Spanish-speaking clients throughout Houston and the Rio Grande Valley.
In addition to the community events our team has been busy with, we are also planning more. This includes an upcoming CLE on plaintiff’s personal injury trial law and motor vehicle accident motion practice on November 13, and sponsoring a booth at Weslaco’s upcoming National Night Out on October 13. As part of our firm’s “Project Kids Secure,” we’ll be at the event helping parents and kids equip themselves with free ID kits.
Being involved in these events is a great way for our firm to stay involved with the local residents who often call on us or refer others to our team when they need experienced legal help following an accident or injury. Throughout the years, we’ve worked with numerous victims and families across Texas, and we’ve helped them secure over $700 million in compensation!
